Jumbo Kids Theatre has been focusing on developing different types of dramatic performances for children for the past 19 years while “Super Baby” is the first children theatre that customized for young children. Investigating children’s dramas in many foreign countries, Jumbo Kids Theatre hopes to create a children’s dream theater that merged music, body acts, puppet and shadow, in order to explore more creative possibilities of different children’s art.
From the perspective of baby, the theater explores some conditions that adults are used to, such as being too enthusiastic about babies and talking in baby tones, but they can actually feel the intonation and understand the meaning. Parents sometimes may also ignore the feelings of baby and then forget the cognitive differences between infants and adults. The theatre is about 30 minutes long, which is best for young children aged 2 to 5 to watch with their parents and enter the world of young children together.
Children with autism are more sensitive to sensory stimuli so parents should understand their different needs from the perspectives of children and pay attention to their feelings, making it easier to understand the logic and purposes behind the behaviors of children with autism and improve parent-child communication.
