Without exquisite toys or superb environment and facilities, simple tools and materials can also provide fun activities for parents and children as well as increase the intimacy of parent-child communication and cooperation. Stitch Paperie will offer a number of creative parent-child workshops in November, aiming to arouse the interest of children in basic raw materials and encourage their creativity and imagination. The 2-hour workshop allows parents and children to work together to explore the possibilities of paper and handmade a small paper stool by simple materials, including sewing paper with colored cotton ropes, combining paper sheets into a stool by hammers and do some painting on the finished product.

Children with autism tend to have limited and tedious play interests and such creative workshops can help children with autism explore the joy of DIY simple materials in daily life as well as strengthen their communication and cooperation with parents and peers. Encouraging self-esteem from interactive art experience, and enjoying diverse fun of play, a mile to a smile!
