Popsicle is definitely a best choice for summer heat, but as a parent, there is inevitable concern for excessive sugar and chemicals in the ice cream. This summer, VESSEL has invited tutor Irene to host a healthy “vanilla popsicle workshop” for parents and children. VESSEL community garden grows more than 60 kinds of fresh herbs every year and this workshop has selected the most suitable seasonal vanilla to make delicious and healthy handmade popsicles, bringing precious parent-child memories for summer vacations when experiencing instant pick-up and taste of vanilla.

Most autistic children are limited in their interests and understanding of surroundings. This popsicle workshop will not only improve parent-child communication and cooperation, but also enable autistic children to cultivate interest in plants and environment. In the process of picking herbs and making popsicles, hands-on ability and more diversified play will be developed in children with autism. Adults and children can both eat healthy and enjoy relaxing parent-child time! Increased exposure , A mile to a smile !
