Children with autism generally have language barriers. But the study of University of Gothenburg pointed out that listening to different intonations can improve the pronunciation of children with autism.

Research indicates that young children can distinguish between different intonations and pronunciations at an early stage. However, children with autism have a weaker sense of perception, listening and observation. Therefore, tone-recognition training can improve the language ability of autism.

Research shows that student learn effectively by distinguishing similar pronunciations, such as p and b, and using appropriate gestures.
