In recent years, the teaching trend of three-dimensional book has been highly sought after by the education sector. Telford Plaza and Hong Kong Disneyland have jointly created the first theme event with the concept of three-dimensional books during the summer vacation – “Children’s Dream. Disney Classic Story Tour”, thus promoting reading culture during the summer vacation. 6 classic fairy tales, including “Dumbo”, “CHIP’n’DALE”, “Pinocchio”, “Alice in Wonderland”, “Bambi” and “101 Dalmatians” will be presented in the mall with large decoration.
In order to increase children’s interest in reading through interactive games, the second phase of Telford Plaza has provided the parent-child reading area, allowing parents to have more space to cultivate parent-child reading culture, and also to hold story-telling competitions for children to develop their creativity and expressing ability, which is definitely a good choice of indoor family activity.
In general, the major deficit of autism is lack of creativity in which children with autism may find it hard to understand the story line. Thus this workshop which offers interactive activities and story board may helps children with autism in comprehending the stories and love reading more. Parents with kids with autism may consider bringing your kids there to enjoy!
